- The annual shipment of liquid carbon dioxide is approximately 770,000 tons, and the estimated shipment of dry ice is about 350,000 tons.

- The processing of raw materials has decreased by about 20% compared to 2009 (as of 2019), and it is expected that the shortage of dry ice materials will accelerate.
Industrial and medical use, which is included in dry ice cleaning machines, accounts for approximately 3% of the total dry ice shipment. Only a very small portion of the overall produced dry ice is used for industrial purposes.
